Submission Guidelines

 

  1. Submissions

We accept submissions from UNLV students, faculty and alumni. All submissions must include: name, phone number, e-mail address and if applicable course title, semester, and professor.

  1. Submissions

must be presented both in hardcopy and electronically.

  1. Submissions:

must be in Microsoft Word (please do not submit in .pdf). The format is New Times Roman, 12 point font and double-spaced. Citations must conform to Turabian (Chicago) style, footnotes only. All submissions must have a title.

  1. Submission lengths:

    • Research papers should be no longer than 35 pages including footnotes. A bibliography is not necessary.
    • Historiographies should be no longer than 4500 words.
    • Review essays should be no longer than 3000 words.
    • Essays done as take-home exams should be no longer than 10 pages.
    • Single-book reviews should be no longer than 1000 words.
    • Single-movie reviews should be no longer than 1000 words. Multiple-movie reviews should be no longer than 3000 words.
