About Us

This organization is dedicated to the spread of chinese internal martial arts and in so doing, develop the mind, body, and spirit of those participating in the organization. The primary arts being taught are
Ba
guazhang and Meihuazhuang, and the training sessions are open to all members of the UNLV community. Since our inception in 2007, members of the organization have participated in martial arts performances, seminars, and tournaments. In addition to providing exposure to martial arts, another goal of the club is to provide education in various aspects of Chinese culture such as language, history, philosophy, history, music, and film.

Classes are currently being taught by fifth generation Baguazhang practitioner Shifu Keoni Everington. For those who are interested, he can teach other styles such as Tai Chi, Xingyi, and Shaolin.
