Welcome to FMA
The Financial Management Association (FMA) is a non-profit organization offering aid and development to students interested in the field of Finance. Its main goals include developing relationships between students and finance professionals in the community while also facilitating the transfer of ideas, techniques, and advances in the field today. Students who join are given valuable information on internships and services available, which cannot be found in the classroom. Recognized as a national organization , the UNLV chapter of FMA is active in campus events and gives students the chance to meet face to face with local business leaders through its hosting of guest speakers. For a semester fee of $30 or annual of $50, members can take advantage of the following:
- Valuable connections through social events and guest speakers
- Help with course planning and aid in finance courses
- Accessibility to study material accumulated from required finance courses
- Road-trips to key US business centers which provide important first hand information and experience
- Lifelong friendship and valuable interaction between peers

Other Benefits of being an FMA Member:
The UNLV Financial Management Association has regular monthly meetings every semester. A guest speaker is invited each time to speak to students on the topics of Finance such as financial services, managerial finance, and real estate. Past speakers have included insurance agents, bankers, stockbrokers, financial analysts, and trust managers.
