Working in construction internal audit Text Box: Before I started my internship, I had to prepare myself for an intimidating interview. From my perception, practicing for an interview was similar to taking a final exam. An experience filled with pressure and unexpected results. When the time came for my interview, there were two managers and one supervisor waiting to “interrogate” me. When it came time to face the music, I was quite surprised by their frankness and their willingness to share personal experiences Text Box: in the field of construction internal audit. Suddenly, I didn’t feel so left out and began to lose all hesitation to speak about my interest to work for MGM Mirage.  By the time the interview was over, I felt very accomplished overcoming my fear of interviews. The first day I worked in construction internal audit, I had the chance to meet my team. Not only did I get to meet my team, I had the opportunity to meet everyone working in other departments such as Text Box: My Internship Experience by Thomas Leung Text Box: gave me a sense of personal satisfaction when I didn’t feel isolated within a single department. I was able to meet and learn from a diverse group of individuals who have made Text Box: my work fun and interesting. As my internship progressed, I worked under a senior auditor who in turn reported to the manager. The construction internal audit team is further Text Box: divided into sub-teams where a senior auditor is assigned to each sub-team.
